Frank Lazarto has been happily married to his wife, Alicia, for 17 years and together have two boys, Blaise and Bryce. As Trustee, Frank is honored to serve the great membership of Local One.
Frank has worked throughout the Local One jurisdiction for over 25 years. He has labored at numerous venues including various television studios, industrial events and live theatre.
Frank earned a Bachelor’s Degree, in Finance, from Baruch College in 1992.He is also a graduate of the I.A.T.S.E. Officer Institute in 2015 and holds aCornell University ILR School Certificate in Labor Leadership, Contract Negotiations, Communication, Stewardship and Clsoing Out Contracts.
In 2016, Frank was elected to the position of Trustee of Local One. He served as Delegate to the I.A.T.S.E. 67th Quadrennial Convention and 68th Quadrennial Conventions. Frank has been an active member of several Contract Negotiating Committees in television and theater and has also secured special events contracts with other independent employers. His past service also includesarbitration and grievance proceedings as well Shop Steward at CBS Studio 43, ABC TV23, and ABC TV17.
Frank Is a Local One Delegate to the New York City Central Labor Council and The Long Island Federation of Labor. He was appointed to the Local One Benefits Committee in 2008 and Budget Committee in 2010. In 2013, at Lehman College, Frank represented Local One as a guest speaker for the Mayor’s Office of Film, Theatre, and Broadcasting.
