Tyler J. Blumenfeld

Dear Brothers, Sisters, Kith and Kin,
 
It is with a deep sense of sadness and regret that I must report to you the passing of our Brother Tyler J. Blumenfeld on September 20, 2021. Brother Tyler worked at The Metropolitan Opera House in the Property Department. He had a love for the Met Opera, his fellow brothers and sisters, and the work we do.
 
An expert skier, Brother Tyler traveled the world following his passion. Brother Tyler also loved fishing in North Carolina with his father, retired Brother James Blumenfeld. He lived for the Green Bay Packers and was a devout “cheese-head.”
 
He was born on May 20, 1992 and initiated into Local One on June 23, 2019.

He is survived by his father Local One Brother James Blumenfeld, his mother Jeanine and his sister T. He was loved by two big families, many cousins and a great many friends.

Viewing:  Friday, September 24, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
 
Services:  Saturday, September 25, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at St Aedan’s Church, 23 Reld Drive, Pearl River, NY  10965.
 
Interment:  St. Anthony’s Cemetery, 36 West Nyack Road, Nanuet, NY.
 
Brother Tyler will be missed by family and friends alike. May his soul Rest in Peace.
